Before I design anything, I listen.

Every celebration starts with a story- how you met, what you love, what you imagine when you close your eyes and picture the day to be. my work begins there. Sara Lucy Event Design was created from years of creating art in community spaces, volunteering my hands and my heart to build moments that brought people together. I learned early on that beauty is powerful- but being seen is transformative.

At home I am raising four kids on our beautiful farm, surrounded by flower fields, old trees and muddy boots by the backdoor. Our table is rarely small- there's almost always someone extra to feed. I've learned that the most meaningful moments aren't always the grand ones. they're the ones where everyone feels welcome, comfortable, and connected. That spirit carries into every event that I design.

When you work with me, you're not choosing a theme from a catalogue. You're sharing a vision. Sometimes it's fully formed, sometimes it's just a feeling. My role is to gently draw it out, refine it, and bring it to life through colour, florals, textures and thoughtful details. I believe Celebrations should feel personal. Rooted. Alive.

 Whether Im designing with bold blooms, layering meaningful details, or organizing every moving piece behind the scene, I hold your story at the centre. Because this isn't about creating something beautiful for the sake of it- its about creating something that feels like you.
